We worked with Local Taco owner John Ko and graphic designer Erin Pfister to develop the restaurant’s website. Founded in 2009, the company lacked a web presence for its two locations and growing grassroots social media following. It won the Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville in 2010.
Execution: Since the restaurant already had a large Facebook and Twitter base, it was critical to leverage the two platforms in conjunction with site content. With menus and daily specials, the new site was designed to engage readers and keep them coming back. The site’s usability-first strategy ensures an easy, effective visitor experience. The bold colors, crisp photography and fun typefaces reflect the company’s clientele, brand and passion for the best ingredients.
Results: The site successfully increased the company’s online presence. The numbers speak for themselves:
- Bounce rate decreased by 76%
- Time on the site increased by 459%
- Page visits increased by 171%
- Page views increased by 248%
